Introduction to the Fashion Metaverse – 2
The Metaverse access guide for all fashion-loving souls continues.
If you still think that the Metaverse is not a fashion theme, I share with you a quote by Pierre Cardin: “The clothes I prefer are those that I invent for a life that does not yet exist, the world of tomorrow.”
For those who missed the previous post, you can find it here:

Steps to enter the Metaverse
In the Metaverse, there are 3 main levels of interaction.
Type in the web address of the platform you want to visit.
- level 1 – log in as guest, to have a quick look;
- level 2 – create a free account, to interact with other users and perform tasks;
- level 3 – associate a Wallet with your account, to access all functionalities and explore all territories, you have to delve into the world of cryptocurrencies (coin) and create a digital wallet.
The third level may seem complicated, but there are actually management platforms that come to our aid.
The important thing is to understand what cryptocurrencies (coins) are, what they are for, and to use them responsibly and consciously.
Cryptocurrencies are virtual currencies, virtual money in short.. They are called virtual because they do not exist in physical form, but are generated and exchanged exclusively by electronic means. Their name is a combination of the terms cryptography and currency. Cryptography is the use of advanced mathematics to protect data.
Metaverses are virtual worlds with their own internal economy, which is based on cryptocurrencies. Within the metaverse, it is possible to buy digital objects, but what one actually buys are digital certificates of ownership stating that one has rights (different depending on the object) to what one has bought. Such certificates are called NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens).
Digital objects that can be purchased in this way are virtual fashion garments and accessories or digital gadgets that can be used in video games, but also intellectual property rights to works of art such as songs, paintings or patents.
Wallets are secure systems for storing, sending and receiving digital currencies such as Bitcoin, Dash, Ethereum, etc. Most currencies have an official wallet and some recommended third-party wallets.
This all sounds very complicated but with an example it will become clearer.
