Operational tools to delve into the Metaverse
The fashion industry has already taken some significant steps but, especially in Italy, the opportunities offered by the Metaverse are not well known.
Chic Words has therefore decided to initiate the research project Virtual Influencers: opportunities and critical issues for the Fashion Metaverse, in collaboration with the IUSVE University Institute of Venice, to investigate the communication and marketing possibilities offered by the new virtual worlds and make available to companies, professionals and enthusiasts in the ICT and fashion sectors some reflections of the Metaverse and its potential.
The working team includes professionals and academics:
- Maddalena Mometti, Project Coordinator e Communication Department consultant;
- Giovanni Fasoli, Consultant Pedagogy Department;
- Marco Zuin, Consultant Psychology Department.
A Community for Innovation
The idea for this research project stems from Chic Words’ desire to investigate the new frontiers of innovation in the fashion industry.
Through the blog, the research project, and a series of online and in-person events, we would like to create a community to initiate synergies with companies, professionals, and academic specialists, who wish to materialize innovative ideas in fashion, sharing values, passions, and goals from a Human-Centered Design, ethics, and sustainability perspective.
A free operational guide
Through the research project, an operational guide to the Metaverse dedicated to fashion businesses and professionals has also been developed and will be made available free of charge to all those who register for the November 14th online convention. The report will be available also in English.
